country wreath -PDF

The promise of beautiful weather and lush nature inspired me to create
this wreath with a country accent and a touch of Slavic folklore.
I love the cheerfulness of spring that I wanted to bring into the house.
This 30" x 30" quilt is composed of a warm mix of hand-dyed woolens, various textures and spring colors in a country style. Scraps of reproduction fabrics coordinate with the woolens as borders and the whole is enlivened with embroidered wool strips to accentuate the folk aspect.
The method is simple: fusible-web appliqué and embroidery to give relief
on a flannel background. (Everything is explained in the instructions).
Easy and quick, this project is very pleasant to make and can be transposed
into a cushion or a table runner.
