Pattern : Appliqués woolen and fabric picture

Here is a little project, easy and quick, with woolen appliqués underlined with embroidery.
We could write extensively about the complicity between a cat and his master.
Anyone who has several cats who throw themselves right away on your latest work in process in the workshop (we have not even had the time to remove the pins) will get my point.
They are comforting and soft, sometimes bad-tempered, but always full of charm and mischievousness and, in this regard, they deserved to be represented in our bestiary.

This panel is composed of a mixture of woolen materials with soft hand dyed colors, on a bottom of ecru fabric adorned with a flowered edge.

My favorite method for the appliqué is simple : I use fusing and embroider again the woolen material to give some volume (everything is explained in the pattern).

This project quite pleasant to achieve can be tuned into a cushion or into any work according to your fantasy.
Finished quilt : 34 x 28 cm ( 13.39" x 11").
